Whilst visiting seahouses I bought a couple of postcards and went to a local pub to write one out for mum. We then walked up to the local post office where I entered and picked up a bottle of cola which I only bought as it seems a little rude to just post a card without purchasing. I approached the counter to the most ignorant lady, she couldn't even lift her head to acknowledge me. I asked her if she could send my card for mum and her reply was "put it in the box there" !! I felt reluctant to do so as I had such negative vibes from this woman. I did however pop it in the box, I had placed a 1st class stamp on the card. 2 weeks later my 80 year old mum still hasn't received the postcard. I should have gone with my gut instinct as I said to my husband how awful this so called lady was and I said how I thought mum won't get the card and she hasn't.
