Chatton Village Store (and post office) has absolutely everything you need from delicious coffee and homemade cakes (yumee) to deodrant and a red pepper (things we happened to find that we needed!), and on top of all that the staff are gorgeous - friendly and helpful with a genuine Northumbrian welcome! Oh and we popped upstairs to Coco & Alice where I unexpectedly purchased an irresistable striped jumper - some incredible items in there too. Needless to say, we will be back :)
