Very disappointing experience at Harlington Post Office. I went urgently to post a letter and had arrived before the collection. I even saw the collection person come to collect letters, but the lady behind the counter neither informed me properly nor allowed me to post it in time.
She was also pushing first-class stamps and came across as rude during the interaction. Overall, very poor customer service and not a pleasant experience at all.

This is the 2nd time I ve had diffculty using this post office. I ve lived in Harlington for over 40 years and up until recently have have no problem. The post office operative at the counter on Saturday 21st March 2026 obviously did not want to be bothered by my request as she said it was going to take her too long and I could fill out a cn22 form online. Yes I could but when I get to the post office there is no signal and I cannot bring up the code she needs to enable her to do not very much because I have already done it for her. When this happened before I was advised I could download the cn22 customs declaration. Print it off fill it out and stick it to the parcel that was to be posted. Could someone please advise this particular post office operative that this is the case or stop telling the public they can download the form and manually fill it in.

Frequently Asked Questions About Harlington Post Office
How much cash can I withdraw at a Post Office counter?
The amount you can withdraw in a Post Office branch will depend on any withdrawal limits in place on the specific account you hold with your bank. If you’re unsure, please contact your bank directly to check.
Do I get charged for making cash withdrawals at Post Office?
No charges are taken at the counter however some banks may charge.
For details, please check directly with your own bank.
How do I deposit a cheque at Post Office?
To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:
*The cheque

Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
