A Masterclass in How to Ruin a Post Office (If I could give zero, I would) This is less a review and more a public service announcement for anyone in Hunts Cross needing postal services. What was once a functional, if unremarkable, Post Office has been gutted and reborn as "Easy Grab" – a cynical, predatory hybrid that fails at both its roles. The Core Service – Now an Afterthought: The primary function, the Post Office, has been shoved into a corner. The precious queuing space we once had is now occupied by overpriced cans of pop and confectionery. You’re left awkwardly shuffling between shelves, feeling like an obstruction for not browsing their inflated stock. Predatory Pricing & Redundancy: The "shop" element is an insult to the community. Every single item they sell is available for significantly less within easy walking distance in Hunts Cross. They are not providing a convenience; they are banking on captive postal customers making desperate, overpriced purchases. It's a blatant predator shop model. An Ethical Low Point: The most galling addition is the sale of e-cigarettes and vape liquids. This isn't just opportunistic; it's brazenly cynical, given there is a dedicated vape shop right next door. It reeks of a deliberate attempt to undercut a specialist neighbour using their footfall, a truly shameful business practice. The Unwelcome Atmosphere: All of this is compounded by the attitude from behind the counter. The palpable disappointment and dismissive looks you receive when you dare to only use the postal service make the experience genuinely unpleasant. You are made to feel like a time-waster for not subsidising their failing retail venture. In Summary: The conversion has destroyed a public service for a private, greedy gamble. We've lost space, gained hostility, and are now served by a parasitic shop that offers nothing of value to the area. Use the postal services if you must, but bring your patience, and for goodness sake, buy your snacks, drinks, and vape supplies literally anywhere else in Hunts Cross. Your wallet and your dignity will thank you.

Good community post office! The post office itself is quite small, but very effective in the sense that, you have all the usual things you find in bigger post offices. Gifts, greeting cards, gift cards, stationaries, wrapping papers, vending machine etc. They offer services such as cash withdrawal, bills payment, money transfer etc. When I visited, the customer service agent was polite and professional. Will definitely visit again when am in the area
