- WTWayne ThompsonSep 20, 20261.0When I think of a poor British work ethic, this shop is the epitome of what I mean. Let me explain, its Sunday 6:30pm, I know this shop is open until around 8pm, so I telephoned at least 25 times (because nobody would answer the phone). Simply to ask can if I post a parcel, because I'm not sure if the post office part is running at this hour. I have a busy work day ahead of me tomorrow and don't plan to be anywhere near a post office, so I could post my package today whilst I'm doing nothing. If they would only answer the phone, so I could confirm if I can't post a parcel, this would save me a 15 min car journey But picking up a phone is too much effort for some businesses, no wonder this country is in such a mess.
