Very poor service. The two older blonde women are very rude and unpleasant

Being a disabled person i am unable to get in this post office unless someone takes pity on me from the street. The door is so heavy to push and the staff are far from pleasant. Don't work customer facing if you don't like people. I cant use Stickports new post office set up ..upstairs in the stationary place or go out round the corner use a lift and back to the upstairs and that's if your mobility aid scoiter/wheelchair fits. STOCKPORT please do something about the post office use and especially Edgeley post office. Once in the shop I have to wait for someone to enter or leave the shop as the door is too heavy god forbid someone working there would help!! Atrocious place avoid if you can.

Not a great experience; they look unhappy when a customer comes in. Instead of working during working hours. Talking on a call instead of taking a parcel

Definitely needs improvement in customer s service , they sent my parcel back to my address when i dropped it off for returning to the provider, it came back and i had to take it to another post office to return . HOW I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE DROPPING OFF MY PARCEL . Can relate to how rudely I was treated and refused that I had not dropped off a parcel when all the 3 members saw me drop it off , good job i went back after getting an email that it was going to my house and found it in the big box , yet all 3 were faffing about but couldn’t see a big parcel . I really don’t understand has to why they are working there when they are not doing the job .
Frequently Asked Questions About Edgeley Post Office
How much cash can I withdraw at a Post Office counter?
The amount you can withdraw in a Post Office branch will depend on any withdrawal limits in place on the specific account you hold with your bank. If you’re unsure, please contact your bank directly to check.
Do I get charged for making cash withdrawals at Post Office?
No charges are taken at the counter however some banks may charge.
For details, please check directly with your own bank.
How do I deposit a cheque at Post Office?
To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:
*The cheque
*A completed deposit slip from your bank, if applicable. Please contact your bank to request paying-in slips as these are not held in Post Office branches

Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
