- CWChristine WillisDec 14, 20241.0Absolute disgraceful service ! The post office closed at 16.45 on Friday despite saying it is open until 17.30. The woman behind the counter was still there but would not serve me. I returned the next morning to send a parcel to Belgium, International tracked and signed for. The lad serving me didn't appear to be competent in what he was doing. On checking my receipt, I noticed that my parcel was destined for Germany. I returned to the queue, informing him of his error. I was baffled by his response. He just said "Hopefully it will get there " I asked for my parcel back and a refund to be told that this wasn't possible. On asking Why ? He said that he was unable to do this. I remained in the shop insisting on a refund. He telephoned a colleague and she arrived a short while after. The woman didn't even acknowledge me, just spoke to the lad about his lack of training and how the Post office would have to close on a Saturday in future. I found her to be very rude and certainly won't be using this post office again. It needs closing down and I will be reporting this to Royal mail.

The second time they we're talking to friends in the shop as they served me and were short with me when I politely tried to speak to them. I was made to feel really uncomfortable. I also had a notification today that my parcel arrived damaged. This may or may not have happened at the shop but I will not be returning. I would rather drive further away than have this kind of terrible customer service.

Prior to this I went once at 12.20 to be told as they stood there that they are on lunch until half 1 over an hour lunch is a joke. The staff are rude and have no customer service at all. Needs a severe shake up
