Very rarely opens on a Saturday (closed today - Saturday 20/06/2026). Service is terrible.

Awful. The guy who runs this place has been here for years and has a tendency to being slow (like the sloth behind the counter from the Zootopia/Zootropolis film) and rude although I have noticed this less recently.
However, what still persists is that he will just take random lunch breaks and close the store at the most random times during the day. I understand he needs to have lunch, but then maybe hire an extra member of staff??? Previously you were still able to enter the store but today at 13:30 the shutter was just down and the place was just closed. Possibly the worst Post Office in the country. Save yourself the time and hassle and go to the Edge Lane PO down the road or the PO near Holt Town tram stop.

Terrible service! Went before 11am today and it’s closed with no signs or anything. Not the first time either.

New to the area and have had nothing but rubbish service here. The man isn't the most helpful. It seems to close at random times without warning or even a sign up. I went today at 1:30pm and it was closed. Feels as if I'm bothering him by turning up to collect parcels. Inside is very dirty, it needs a good clean! The dirt on the door handle is 🤢
