    Misleading Reviews – My Experience Was the Complete Opposite I genuinely do not understand where all the positive reviews are coming from. Claims that the staff “go above and beyond” and provide helpful advice could not be further from my experience. The staff were slow, unhelpful, and appeared to lack basic knowledge of the services they were providing. Despite several customers waiting, only two counters were open, resulting in unnecessary delays and frustration. The whole place seemed disorganised and poorly managed. To make matters worse, the prices are outrageous. Basic packaging materials are being sold at massively inflated prices compared to supermarkets and other retailers. It feels like customers are being taken advantage of simply because they need a postal service. The atmosphere is unwelcoming, the customer service is poor, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. Unless things improve significantly, I would recommend looking for an alternative post office wherever possible.

    Useless, brought in new self service machines that you can’t use , staff not able to tell you anything (not even the address of where their telling you to go to collect your parcel). Royal Mail app is crap too.

    Staff has not received the proper training as they don’t understand or can advise on their own products. One lady made me spend £90 to send an oversized parcel to then find out that the parcel was too big to be handled by the Royal Mail. That happened after she made me weight a 25kg parcel on a tiny scale on the counter (after saying it was impossible to get a reading, which unsurprisingly was). Also, not only staff is unhelpful, they become rude when they need to do anything a tiny bit more complex then scanning a QR code.

    Service has improved slightly since new ownership....however bring your own padded envelopes and boxes. ..Thier prices are shockingly outrageous
