- AAAmberJul 28, 20261.0I’ve been to this Post Office branch quite a few times, and honestly, every visit seems to come with a different problem. Whether it’s the long queues because staff work extremely slow, being called to the counter only to stand there waiting while staff finish doing something else, or even being refused parcel collection, there’s always an issue. What really puts me off is the attitude of the staff. They often come across as rude and unhelpful, making you feel like you’re bothering them just by asking them to do their job. It’s such an unpleasant experience. I will try to avoid this branch (or royal mail as most of the post office branches are with such bad customer service). Judging by the number of similar reviews, I’m clearly not the only one who feels this way. It’s a shame that management doesn’t seem to respond to the feedback or make any effort to improve the customer service.

She insisted that I had to show my physical ID, even though I had the collection email and a photocopy of my ID with me. She refused to help and spoke to me in an unfriendly way. The next day, 8 July, I went back and there was a different staff member, a man. I told him I was there to collect my order, and he handed it to me without even asking for my ID. This inconsistency is frustrating. If my order could be collected without my ID the next day, why was I refused the day before? The lady’s attitude was unprofessional and made the experience unnecessarily stressful. I hope the management provides better customer service and ensures staff apply the same policies consistently.
