    I took the time to carefully measure and weigh the package before arriving at the post office to ensure it complied with the requirements for a 'large letter'. Upon reiterating my request to use the appropriate postage option, the staff member (mature/old male) proceeded to check the measurements on a special board specifically meant for this purpose. Despite the evidence supporting my claim, they still refused to change their decision and continued to insist on the higher 'small parcel' rate, even threatening to make a note on the supposed underpayment if I didn't comply with his incorrect assessment.
