- NNNefeliJun 12, 20261.0Incredibly rude owner kicked me out because I had a (very well behaved and calm) dog with me even though I only wanted to drop off two parcels. The owner followed me around the store to see me out to very patronisingly show me the ‘no pets allowed’ sign on the side of the door. He claimed he’d get a “£1000 fine” however there is no law prohibiting pets from shops selling food. I’d urge you not support this business. I’ll certainly not be going again. *after seeing the owner’s response I would encourage them to cite the law that prohibits animals from entering convenience stores. Your shop is not classified in the same category as an Aldi (etc) and you would only get fined should you fail to prevent food contamination. This is entirely your decision sir not the law’s so please don’t pretend otherwise. Your behaviour was horrible and has directly resulted in discouraging a potential recurring customer.
