Had the pleasure of encounter Akhtar. Who went beyond his duties. What a good service! Even though they closed prior to me arriving he went the extra mile and still spending his time finding my package. Saved the evening and my night sleep by finding my new mattress.

I’ve been coming here several times a week for 14 years. Nearly all of the staff have always been excellent; quick, knowledgeable and lovely. Staff numbers reduced by maybe two thirds about a year and a half ago and I was so sad to see some staff go, but the remaining staff are still excellent and I must give a special shout out to Akhtar who is ALWAYS cheery, knows his job inside out and gives great advice on post office procedures and options that you may not be aware of.

I am writing to file a formal and urgent complaint regarding a distressing experience I had today, July 15, 2026, at approximately 5:24 PM, at the following branch: high street Kensington
I visited this branch to return a parcel via Evri. When I presented my barcode, the staff member on duty, who identified himself as "Harinder," treated me with unacceptable hostility. He spoke to me in a demeaning and aggressive manner, repeatedly telling me to "watch my language." Furthermore, he intimidated me by threatening to take me to court, falsely accusing me of taking a photo of his name tag.
This behavior is completely unprofessional and violates the standards of service I expect from the Post Office. I felt humiliated, intimidated, and unsafe during this interaction.
I am requesting the following:
Immediate Investigation: Please review the CCTV footage from the date and time mentioned (around 5:24 PM today) to verify the conduct of this staff member.
Disciplinary Action: Take appropriate disciplinary measures against the staff member to ensure this behavior does not happen again to other customers.
Formal Response: I would like a formal response explaining the outcome of your investigation and how you intend to address this incident.
I trust that the Post Office takes such reports of staff misconduct very seriously. I look forward to your prompt response.
Sincerely,
maha idan
