- DDDM1 day ago5.0This post office is an invaluable part of our local community. Noori has worked there for many years and is always exceptionally helpful, friendly and kind. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and every customer is treated with patience, warmth and genuine care. Having such a trusted and welcoming post office nearby is extremely important for local residents and businesses, particularly older people and those with mobility difficulties who may find it hard to travel farther afield. It is far more than simply somewhere to post a parcel—it provides a vital, personal service to the whole community. Noori is a real asset to the area, and we are very fortunate to have this excellent local post office.

I went in simply to deposit money into my bank account, but instead of being helpful, she had a poor attitude throughout the interaction. What made the experience even worse was that she refused to accept my coins without providing a clear or polite explanation. Rather than offering any assistance or guidance, she made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Customer service should be respectful and professional, regardless of the situation, and unfortunately this was the complete opposite. I left feeling frustrated and embarrassed. I certainly won’t be returning to this branch and would not recommend it to anyone looking for friendly or helpful service.

*A cheque deposit envelope for your bank (these are available from your own bank or the majority are stocked in Post Office branches)

Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
