I'd tried the day before, but the post office closed 2 hours earlier without warning. So I went back today and once I arrived at the desk the male employee left me to go and turn on the heather as 'he was cold'. Once back, he eventually told me the cost and strongly advised me to track my package even if I'd just told him it was not valuable. Next, I went to the envelope section, where me and another client where both struggling to find the one we needed. We both asked the same employee about it several times, and the answers we received were rude and unpleasant to both of us, even patronising. Eventually, having not found what we needed, the other client left empty handed and I ended up choosing a very large box I didn't really need. Unfortunately, I did not realise the box was one of the display ones, but luckily my new friend spotted it straight away and gave me a really hard time about it at the till! Not one, but now two days in a row I experienced a very poor service and felt quite humiliated, worth walking to Finchley road next time!
