The post office guy refused to send my vinted parcel, so I bought the cardboard packing box as he insisted, which is acceptable here. But after I folding the packaging box correctly with the help from the Ryman staff upstairs, the post office guy STILL refused to send my parcel insisting it is ‘open’, and I should buy tape to pack it again. I proved to him it is safe to send and the Ryman staff has backed me up that this packaging is sturdy enough. He agreed to send my parcel in the end because I said I will be responsible for any loss. He even wrote a sentence on my receipt saying the box is not properly packed up. I don’t understand why he makes things so difficult for me. He represents neither the courier company, nor does the sales performance of the upstairs Ryman shop have anything to do with him. Does intersectional feminist theory hold true here that I am treated this way because I am minority plus I am a woman? It is a horrible experience and I don’t want to walk in here again.
