- AAAlexJul 2, 20241.0Generally they have been good here over the years. I renewed my drivers licence a month ago and the chap was very nice. However there was an issue with the renewal due to being a Northern Ireland address (they shouldn’t have processed it and instead directed me to the Northern Ireland DVA). So I went back again today to get the correct form, as advised by a letter received direct from the DVLA. The DL1 form. They insisted there was no such form and it doesn’t exist (it does). After trying to get the form from 3 different London post offices (none of them had one), I decided I’d just renew my licence with my temporary address here in London so I’m legal to drive. I went back to this post office with my same renewal form from 1 month ago, and they refused to process the renewal, saying I’d already paid for a renewal. I explained the DVLA had already cancelled my initial renewal and refunded me. I asked if they could even just attempt to renew my licence. They flat out refused, said it wasn’t possible and fobbed me off to the DVLA. I headed straight to the post office in Putney and a lady there processed the renewal with my old letter straight away with no problems. So much time, stress and hassle could have been saved if they were just willing to listen. Very disappointing.

- KPklem phlenytJan 11, 20211.0All staff should be wearing masks, but they're not. They also allow people in who aren't wearing masks. This is illegal and they should be penalised.
