- TTTatianaAug 5, 20261.0I have visited this post office four times for the past month, and on three of those occasions the post office opened at least 20 minutes late because the staff member responsible for opening (unfortunately I don't know her name) arrived late with the keys. Her colleague was there on time, but he couldn't let anyone in because he didn't have access to the building. Today was the worst experience yet. Customers were left waiting for more than 40 minutes, and many people gave up and left after waiting for over half an hour. There was no notice on the door explaining the delay or any change to the opening hours. The website clearly states that the post office opens at 9:00 a.m., but they failed to meet their advertised opening time yet again. The explanation given was that there was traffic. While traffic can happen, there are plenty of alternative ways to reach this location, including buses and trains, which were running normally today. This level of unreliability is unacceptable. This is absolutely unprofessional and extremely frustrating for customers who rely on the post office opening at the advertised time. I hope management addresses this issue so that customers can depend on the service they are promised.

To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:

*A cheque deposit envelope for your bank (these are available from your own bank or the majority are stocked in Post Office branches)

Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
