I feel they need to be happier inside to reflect on the outside. It's almost as if someone is forcing them to run this business.

For this apparently unforgivable delay, I was berated and told that 'it should have been ready before you walked up'. A polite reminder would have sufficed. Instead, the staff member treated a minor pause like a collapse in public order. A Post Office should be able to process a basic deposit without the experience turning needlessly rude and unpleasant. Horrible experience and will definitely avoid this branch in the future.

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
