In the meantime I have tended to use the small post office on the parade by Mario's fish and chips shop. However after reading the recent run of five star ratings I thought I would give it another go. I went at 8.30 on a Tuesday morning and was the only customer. The lady who served me was polite, smiling and helpful and I was in and out of there in under two minutes. I appreciate this is not everyone's experience. My wife, for instance, went yesterday and it took the best part of twenty minutes as there was only one person serving until 9.20. For the sake of both the customers and staff, I would strongly urge management to ensure that there is always a sufficient number of staff present to make visits less stressful for all concerned.
