- SJShirni JawandaJun 13, 20261.0Very disappointing experience. I attended Hayes Post Office to collect a parcel that had been waiting for collection since 2 June. Due to working full-time Monday to Friday, today was my first realistic opportunity to collect it. After waiting in a lengthy queue, I presented my NHS staff ID, which clearly shows my photograph, full name, NHS employer and a valid expiry date. What made the experience particularly frustrating is that this exact same ID has been accepted by this branch on numerous previous occasions when collecting parcels. On this occasion I was refused collection and told the ID was not acceptable. The issue is not simply the refusal itself. The issue is the inconsistency. Customers should not receive one answer from staff on one visit and a completely different answer on another visit when presenting the same identification. The result was a wasted journey, wasted time, and a very poor customer experience. I will not be returning to this branch to collect the parcel.

Then when the other lady instructed her to check with my name and ID, suddenly this wasn’t needed. Which one is it. Not happy at all with this at all.
