You get looked up and down like your a piece of dirt. Was rude to me the last time I went in, I certainly won’t go in again. And I’m a local.

IF YOU FANCY QUEUING FOR ABUSE, THIS IS THE PLACE...
Without doubt one of the worst customer service experiences in Lincoln. If you enjoy standing in a queue for a long time just to post a simple letter while only one counter is open, then this is the place for you. The service is painfully slow every single time, no matter what time of day you visit. Mornings, lunch hours, afternoons — it makes no difference. Expect long queues and zero urgency from staff.
The biggest issue, however, is the attitude of the owner. Extremely rude, confrontational, and unnecessarily aggressive towards customers. Instead of being polite or helpful, she seems to enjoy talking down to people and challenging them over the smallest things. I have witnessed customers being spoken to in a dismissive and bullying manner for absolutely no reason.
Customer service should not involve being made to feel uncomfortable or intimidated just for asking a simple question. There is a real arrogance in the way customers are treated here, as though people are an inconvenience rather than paying customers.
There are far better post offices nearby where staff are actually professional, efficient, and respectful. I will not be returning.

Ignore their opening times. They’re supposed to close at 5:30 but it seems the staff will just leave early if they fancy it. It’s not even 4pm and they’ve all gone home and I’ve wasted a trip.

As my local post office I use this branch frequently, it’s never been a pleasant experience but I’ve always tried to ‘kill with kindness’ in order that I get out of there unscathed. Today my tolerance reached its peak. Rude, unhelpful staff that refuse to accept digital ID despite the fact Royal Mail encourage the use of their Easy ID app. Fair enough if it’s this particular branch’s policy but I doubt very much it is that, more the member of staff hates her job and has no clue what she’s doing. Sniggers and face pulling as I left trying to coerce the following customer into belittling me. Dreadful place
