- SCSusan CookSep 29, 20261.0This really doesn’t deserve even the one star. I agree with previous reviewers, awful parcel service & such a shame for a convenient local store. It’s hit and miss when I take a parcel as to whether they will accept it. Most often I’m told it’s too large - even a small blender I was told too large for them to take! Also, if they are busy first thing in morning I get told they cant take my parcel even though post office is open. I’ve given up going there now as really unreliable and bad customer service.
- CMChris MillsSep 9, 20261.0I don't want to criticise the staff here, they obviously work hard and as a 'corner shop' I cannot comment other than it's a bit crowded and messy. My issue is with the postal and courier services they offer which are frequently unavailable due to technical issues. Over the last 7 visits using either Evri or Post Office services, I was only able to send an item once. The 3 main excuses I get are "it's a problem with Evri system" but when I go to another provider it's working fine. Or "it's a problem with Amazon system" but when I call Amazon they say the system is okay and another provider works fine. Or there is the sign (that appears to live on the counter) saying "closed due to technical reasons". Yesterday a new one though, they closed the post office at 5.30 pm to reconcile the till and said not to leave my parcel as it was quite big and they have no room. If the management read this then please take as constructive criticism and please fix your IT.
