- NKNathan KAug 20, 20261.0I visited the Ruby Square Post Office in Grimsby today to deposit 1,900 pounds. I had counted the money carefully beforehand and was confident in the amount. The cashier counted it in front of me and said it was twenty pounds short. She then put the cash into another counting machine behind the counter that wasn’t visible to me and again said it was twenty pounds short so I had to pay the extra. The staff member was also quite rude and dismissive throughout, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. I can’t say for certain what happened, but the whole experience left me uneasy because I wasn’t able to see the second count. For transparency and customer confidence, all cash counting should be done in clear view of the customer. I left feeling disappointed and with very little confidence in the process.
