- HBHELEN BOSTOCK-SMITHFeb 12, 20215.0We ended up at Whetstone post office as our local post office in Countesthorpe had closed down,we then travelled to Cosby and having previously checked online re opening times,only to be abruptly told post office closed till 2.30 pm ,there were no signs in the chemist or online ,as it was very cold (friday 12th Feb) We decided rather than wait 15 mins we would make another journey this time to Whetstone post office. What a completely different experience, very friendly staff ,both the man on post counter and the lady on the chemist counter could not have been more different to those at Cosby, welcoming, efficient, obliging and professional. This restored our faith in the Post Office ,i would give a 6 star rating if i could they were that good ,we will definitely use Whetstone from now on ,thanks both
