- SHSJ HSep 16, 20241.0I went to the post office to return a Marks and Spencer order via Evri. The staff member said my QR code wouldn’t scan, then said she’d do me a favour. She took my parcel and generated a return bar code using a mobile phone but said she couldn’t give me a receipt. I thought this odd but gave her the benefit of the doubt. After a 2 week holiday during which I got no acknowledgment of my return, I went to the Post Office and was told my parcel had been returned to Amazon! I got nowhere trying to deal with the person so returned a few days later to try to get some details with which to contact Amazon. The owner would not help in any way and I am now trying to deal with Amazon with no proof of postage, date of return or even business number of the branch. I think the proprietors need training in how to manage their business professionally and deal with customers in a polite and helpful manner. I stand to lose £95 due to their incompetence.
