The guy behind the counter refused it, said it was over 20kg, and claimed I’d have to pay extra. He literally told me to stand to the side so he could serve other people first while he "figured out a price." After standing there like an idiot while he served three other customers, I just walked out. Drove two minutes down the road to a different Post Office, and they took it straight away without asking for a single penny! The first place is an absolute joke—feels like a total scam. This was an official eBay-generated return label where eBay offers a flat rate for both Royal Mail collection and drop-off. The only reason I chose drop-off is because I do not have a printer at home and needed the Post Office to print the label from the QR code. If there was a minor system discrepancy with the weight threshold, the correct approach would have been to handle it professionally and look up the price immediately. Instead, your staff forced me to stand aside and ignored me while serving three other customers. The fact that a neighboring branch processed the exact same official label instantly without issue proves that your branch chose to be unhelpful. Customer service, not just the parcel guidelines, is where this branch failed.
