- GMGhazanfar MahmoodMar 30, 20261.0I went 4 week ago to post my private plate registrations paper to dvla i buy cheque for £10 and write £80 on cheque to post to dvla, the casher said cash only so i paid cash, then I ring dvla and ask why talking longer, dvla said they have only received the private plate documents and no no cheque was in side, and then I went to different post office paid by card, did same thing then all my documents came as in 2 week with no problems, look like to me that this post office taken the cheque out and kept the cash
