- ACAe Cn5 days ago1.0Very disappointing, and unfortunately I would not recommend this branch based on the service I have personally witnessed. I have visited this Shell petrol station and Post Office several times, and unfortunately, I have been very disappointed by the attitude and customer service of one of the staff members. There are two members of staff who usually work there. I have no issue whatsoever with anyone’s age, but I have repeatedly witnessed extremely poor and disrespectful customer service from one particular member of staff. On one occasion, I saw Royal Mail postal workers waiting to be served while working extremely hard and clearly under pressure. Even when the staff member appeared to have time to assist, he did not seem interested in helping them. When one of the Royal Mail workers politely asked if he could serve them a little quicker, the response was extremely rude: “I’ve got plenty to do. Can’t you see?” I have also witnessed him speaking impatiently and disrespectfully to an elderly lady who was taking a little longer to pay. She was simply trying to complete her payment, yet he was already rushing and pressuring her. This is not what I expect from a Post Office service. Customers should be treated with patience, courtesy and respect, regardless of their age or circumstances. Royal Mail workers who are doing a difficult job also deserve to be treated respectfully. I sincerely hope the management will take these concerns seriously and review the customer service standards at this branch. Staff representing a Post Office should understand that good manners and respect towards customers are just as important as completing the transaction.

Then I tried to buy a cardboard box, he said I have to pay for it at the petrol station counter. Then why do you keep them in front of the post office? I have better things to do with my time, really.
