Nicely air conditioned and whilst there was a very happy and pleasant gentleman serving on the counter, I did not get him. In stead I greeted an older lady with hello and got back a glare. I asked for a book of first class stamps, was told in an officious 'we don't have books of stamps', I apologised (not sure why but she seemed annoyed with me) and I asked for 4 first class stamps and a receipt 'you'll get one anyway'. She did indeed give me a receipt and my stamps after I had paid, I said goodbye and have a good day.... Nothing not even goodbye or thank you. I guess its the luck of the draw as to if you leave happy or questioning what you might have done to deserve that sort of service?

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experiences at the Morley Post Office have been so consistently poor that I feel compelled to share them. As a lifelong resident of Morley, it is incredibly disappointing to see a vital community service managed this way.
The general demeanor of the staff is profoundly negative and dismissive. While one or two employees are polite, the majority give the distinct impression that they thoroughly dislike their jobs, creating a highly unwelcoming atmosphere.
More concerning is the recurring issue of overcharging and aggressive upselling. On a recent visit, I was told it would cost £9 to mail a standard letter. When I requested a standard First Class Signed For service, the employee behind the counter condescendingly insisted that Special Delivery was my only option. Furthermore, when I presented a government letter that I assumed was Freepost, instead of gently correcting me, the employee spoke to me like I was stupid. It was handled with an astonishing lack of respect or basic customer care.
The contrast between this branch and the Post Office at the Shell garage on Victoria Road is night and day; the team on Victoria Road consistently goes above and beyond. Moving forward, I will be taking my business there exclusively and would advise others to avoid the main Morley branch entirely.
This location is in desperate need of management intervention, proper staff training, and a severe injection of positivity.
