- MMMelina McLean4 days ago1.0Drove so far to get there because website said open until 8pm. Got there just before 6pm. The guy behind the counter was unpleasant and told me the post office was closed. Told him the website says otherwise. He insisted I was wrong or crazy because it changed years ago. Left to go to my car, open the map and the times on the post office, clear as day the right place, went back inside and showed him the information on Google, he didn't even bother to answer. A complete waste of time and a complete lack of care by the attendant. ROYAL MAIL office needs to have a look into this.

Please update opening times with lunch closure times. We need to support our local Post Offices but experiences like this and those of others in previous posts here show not all is well at this one. With so many closing I hope this one survives.

However, the service here was surprisingly fantastic and staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Anna. She always gives best customer service and advice, even during bank holiday, shop was open and staff managed to help. I trusted them with my important posts and all were sent and delivered on time. I highly recommend this shop and their post service, thanks to Anna!
