Last time I came here it was in the 90s to buy Golden Virginia. Not much seems to have changed since then!
Popped in here as apparently you can make bank/cheque deposits and draw money out, according to the Post Office website. Except you can't. You can buy postcards here and stamps. But any other facilities are not available due to some system that they are connected to. Not really much point in going here, just go further on to Burton. Woman gets a point for being helpful.

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
