Well, well… the worst post office in the UK strikes again.
During their already limited opening hours, they were once again closed during their own advertised times. This is now the fourth time in two weeks that I’ve attempted to collect my parcel and been unable to do so. At this point, I’ve had to contact the supplier and explain that my parcel appears to be held hostage by a group of miserable, incompetent staff who simply cannot operate within their stated hours.
Because of their poor opening schedule, I can only attend during my lunch break. Today, when I asked what time they would reopen, the staff member casually said they “don’t know” because there are “only two of them working.” Bear in mind, I was the only customer in the building. Apparently two members of staff aren’t enough to serve one person.
To make matters worse, this was said while walking away from me — literally finishing the sentence with their back turned. That level of rudeness perfectly sums up the attitude at this branch.
Where does management find these people? And more importantly, where is the site manager? Judging by the other reviews, this is not a one-off — it’s a pattern. The feedback is consistently awful, and nothing appears to change.
At this point, the place might as well close permanently and free up the space for something more useful — perhaps additional parking for the shops nearby. This establishment operates with absolutely no professionalism, no accountability, and no respect for customers’ time.
Do better? No. Just lock the doors and don’t reopen.

went to pick up a parcel and I was refused due to a lack of birth certificate or passport even though my email explicitly said I only need the qr code provided. absolute joke. I've picked up multiple parcels from there before without this issue. the members of staff are also extremely rude making it seem like you are bothering them in my opinion they need to do their job properly and have decent customer service.

This is my local shop and Post Office for now. I am greatfull that it is here and always find the staff helpful and friendly. The opening hours seem a little random but that isn't an issue.

Literally never open. So many wasted journeys to be told the post office counter is closed.

Wouldn’t give this place a 1*.. There are 1-2 friendly/helpful staff, the rest are a joke and i have no idea how they have a job. They make you feel like you’re bothering them?
The opening hours are a complete joke. No idea who owns this place, but they obviously have no idea on making money. The point of using Evri/Yodel/Royal Mail drop off is to bring in customers who will then use your other services… Not this place! They are alienating customers and making it as difficult as possible to use their services! Wont be long before it goes under….
