- KBKaushik BudhathokiSep 3, 20261.0I normally have no issues with this Post Office, and this is the first time I have felt the need to leave a review. We visited Meadow Street Post Office today, 3 September 2026, at around 11:30am, to complete a D1 driving licence form. There was one lady and one gentleman working at the time. I want to make it clear that this review is only regarding the lady who dealt with us, and not the other member of staff. We had a simple question about the difference between normal delivery and Special Delivery. When we asked, she replied, “I don’t know, I don’t work for DVLA.” We understand that she may not know the DVLA process, but her tone and attitude towards us were extremely rude and dismissive. The way she spoke to us and continued staring at us made us feel very uncomfortable, even though we were simply asking a genuine question. Because of her manner, we felt uncomfortable asking any further questions while completing the form, despite still having doubts. We have never experienced this before at this Post Office, which is why this was particularly disappointing. I hope the staff member can be reminded of the importance of treating customers with basic politeness and respect.
