I've never met a ruder person working in a customer based role. She is totally unsuited to that position. I let it go because I thought anyone can be having a bad day but the next day despite it saying that it was open and they both were there they had decided to close. This being 1 o'clock it was my lunch break and I had important stuff to send....They were both openly bad mouthing a colleague who was apparently off ill but in their opinion was skiving. I came back at quarter past five when I'd finished work to post my parcels only to be told by the woman..."Don't tell me you've come in at this time to post parcels....." To which I replied "No I came here 4 hours ago but you both decided that you were closing and going for lunch...." This woman is totally unsuited to the job she is doing... She is openly antagonistic and rude.
- SGS GDec 13, 20251.0Saturday 13th December- struggled with 2 small children and 2 big bags of parcels from the car park , after checking online they are open till 5:30, only to find they had decided to close early today. (This was 4pm!) Surely there must be a contingency plan if the manager is off sick and the 2 other staff were apparently apprentices and didn’t know what to do (according to the member of the staff on the main till) so they had to close! Not great in the run up to Christmas is it! Very poor .
- ABAnt BJan 8, 20251.0I visited to collect a change order for a local business right at opening time and greeted the staff member behind the business counter with a friendly "good morning." Unfortunately, her response was quite dismissive. She scornfully informed me that the order should have been picked up the day before. I apologized and explained that we had called in advance to ensure everything was in order, and I offered to collect it the following day if that was her preference. I have been a customer for over a year and have always found her to be professional and courteous, so I was taken aback when she said, "if you carry on giving me attitude I won’t serve you." She then proceeded to chuck the change bags under the window without any further acknowledgment until I walked away, which left me feeling disregarded. Suggest she takes a step back and evaluates her basic manners as this is not fair on other staff members there who work hard in difficult busy circumstances, as opposed to sitting in a boxed counter on your phone.
