- JBJulie BSep 11, 20265.0Absolutely wonderful service every time. The staff here are genuinely kind, patient, caring and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Nothing ever seems too much trouble, and the service is second to none. I’ve always found the post mistress and her team to be friendly, professional and incredibly helpful. They take the time to listen and deal with queries with patience and courtesy, and I really appreciate the care they put into serving their customers. This is especially so for my 93 year old father. They are wonderful with him and it makes his day to pick up his paper from them every morning. If he ever misses and I pick the paper up for him, they show genuine concern for his wellbeing and are relieved when I say that all is well. I’ve seen some of the negative comments about the service and attitude, and I can honestly say that this has never been my experience whatsoever. Of course, everyone can have an off day or a different experience, but I think it’s important to remember that kindness and respect work both ways. Staff in these busy local services deal with all sorts of situations and customers, and they deserve the same courtesy and patience that they show to us. For me, this is a fantastic local post office and newsagents with lovely people who clearly care about their customers and the community. I’m very happy to support them and would wholeheartedly recommend them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The parcel included medication which I was desperate for. Their website advertised opening times until 2.30pm, however when I arrived at 2.15pm, the door was locked. A lady was in but refused to unlock the door saying they closed at 2.15pm. Now thanks to this, my health condition will deteriorate. They need to sort out their website and provide customers with accurate opening times. It's appalling.
