- PDPhil DunnSep 17, 20241.0Avoid this shop, especially as a postal service! I have shopped here numerous times in the past, as someone wanting to support local business. However, today, we went to post an Ebay order, which had the same dimensions as a padded envelope, and on revising the weight on the ebay label, was within the weight guidelines. This was refused, initially on weight (which we corrected) and then because the sealed envelope bag didn't fit through a slot, basically because it was not a solid item, despite it being well within the required sizing guideline. The shop owner refused to accept the parcel as 'royal mail would pull them on it'.... We left frustrated after a wasted 15 minute walk to the shop, and then had to make an additional trip to the post office... Surprise surprise there was absolutely no issue with the exact same parcel and the exact same label that had been presented and refused at this shop. Suffice to say we will and would not even entertain using this shop for post again, and based on the interaction, they will not see a penny from us again. Don't waste your time.
