I thought the efficient service that I received from Katy to help prove my identity was excellent . A very busy office but customers were dealt helpfully and as individuals.

Feels like a tired, empty and neglected building, which is probably a reflection on the Post Office in general. Staff always helpful and nice.

Went back about half an hour later and got it done there and then, very grateful with the service and very thankful for the member of staff who was polite and patient with me. Very thankful

Unhelpful and dismissive staff.
In the past I have ordered click and collect parcels to Faversham post office and have had no issues with collecting them. However, this time when I went to collect my parcel the woman behind the kiosk apparently could not find it, saying that there was no package in my name. She then told me that I had ordered it to the royal mail delivery office next door, which is only open for 2 hours in the morning on weekdays, and that I would have to come back another day. I then went to check my delivery details as I was certain that I had ordered to the post office itself and not the delivery office. Everything seemed to indicate that my parcel had been delivered to the post office and that It was available for collection between 9:00am and 5:30pm. So I queued up again and showed the same woman the delivery details, as well as the collection times, but she insisted that my parcel was in the delivery office and dismissed the collection times as out of date, saying that they did not refer to Faversham post office. I took her word, assuming that royal mail had made a mistake and had not updated the collection times for the delivery office, although I can never recall it being open between 9:00am-5:30pm.
A couple of days later, I went to the delivery office only for the person there to say that they did not have my parcel and that, according to my delivery details, it had been available to collect all day from 9:00am in the post office on the day that I had initially came, with the only mention of the delivery office being that they had delivered it to the post office. They then went to check in the post office and sure enough my parcel was there under my initial and had seemingly been there the entire time, so the woman must have missed it.
It’s understandable that mistakes happen but for a member of staff to be so dismissive, not bother to double check if my package was there after I had come back, and seemingly get mixed up with opening times is quite frustrating, especially when it was not particularly busy in there at the time.
