Location is wrong. It’s inside Toys R Us. Service slow. 10-20 people in line, one person at the desk. Awful.

The guy who serves here could not be any less unhelpful bordering on rude. And that’s after about a 20 minute wait during which people who walking away eventually.

Absolutely appalling waiting times!
Customer service terrible, they have you waiting for over an hour without apologising. There was a long queue of people going down the stairs with only one cashier. What a joke!! Need to up their standard

Once you walk through the multiple facades of whsmith/tgjones/toysrus that now form the bottom level of this premises, you go upstairs to the half derilict floor space which contains this "post office".
I was only here to drop of an EVRI item, should be simple. Takes 2 minutes in any other shop that does it, they have the machine, scan your QR code, drop it off - done!
Not here - you have to queue with the bearau de change, money order payment, parcel sending with no idea of which service to use, anything else queue.
It doesn't help that at lunchtime (12:35 I entered the queue) there were 2 staff working, till one decided she'd had enough and picked up her starbucks and closed her window, got up and walked off! Don't mind the queue of 8 people waiting - you do you.
Oh, and the remaining staff was more interested in answering a delivery at the back door (mid-serving) and having a chat with who ever it was there rather than dealing with the customers.
Lots of improvements needed here, and not just to the dying decor within a dying town.
23 minutes total from joining the queue to being served (which took less than 60 seconds), for what I assumed would just be a conveniently quick visit. Queue was up to double figures when I left, sole server remained.
Avoid if at all possible.
