It’s a great little shop with all the essentials, cold drinks, hot drinks, pies, pasties, sandwiches, cakes, sweets, crisps, ice cream, fresh fruit and more. Living in a rural area, shops like this are becoming fewer and fewer, so having one here is genuinely important for daily country life.
The staff are always lovely, warm and friendly, and I’ve never had a bad experience. Having the Post Office here as well is fantastic life would be a real hassle without it.
Please support and appreciate this shop as much as I do. It’s a valuable part of the village. The only thing I’d add is that people passing through should slow down and be courteous around the shop and through the village.
