So rude. They never have the stamps you need as singles and try to sell you a book. I asked “is this a post office? We should be able to send a letter by buying a single stamp”, a lady popped out from the back of the shop to insist they’re “not a sub post office, so there!” As if that explained why they couldn’t sell me a stamp! I walked away and the lady ‘serving’ me shouted “don’t strop off”.
Someone could make a comedy about the place - except in real life they’re not funny, they’re just surly and rude. The shop feels dirty too.

I had to post an item unexpectedly today and went in here as I was nearby…this Post Office is not local to me.
The two ladies behind their respective counters helped me out with everything I needed to pack and ship and they were funny and friendly and were one step ahead of me to make the process painless.
Thanks for your help…it’s unlikely I’ll ever be back but only because I am miles away. Great service 👍🏼

The Post Office counter closes whenever they feel like, well before the 8pm on their website. Go early. Agree with the comment below re:lectures.

Have a nasty habit of lecturing you and forgetting you are the customer!. A basic please and thank you would be nice. No idea of customer service.
Frequently Asked Questions About Hever Road Post Office
How much cash can I withdraw at a Post Office counter?
The amount you can withdraw in a Post Office branch will depend on any withdrawal limits in place on the specific account you hold with your bank. If you’re unsure, please contact your bank directly to check.
Do I get charged for making cash withdrawals at Post Office?
No charges are taken at the counter however some banks may charge.
For details, please check directly with your own bank.
How do I deposit a cheque at Post Office?
To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:
*The cheque
*A completed deposit slip from your bank, if applicable. Please contact your bank to request paying-in slips as these are not held in Post Office branches

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
To get more information about your bank’s services and Change Giving, contact them directly.
