- MGMarian GillenDec 14, 20245.0I understand it is frustrating when customers come in and we can’t except parcels as we are full to capacity as we are only a small office as we now have to take parcels for Royal Mail DPD Parcelforce and Evri, when the extra couriers were added they didn’t build us an extension to deal with all the extra parcels and it is as frustrating for us refusing parcels as it is for the customers trying to post them. Secondly this is the busiest week of the year and when someone comes in wanting to post 158 large letters ( who aren’t even regular customers) it is quite a lot for a small local branch with only 2 counters, a main branch with 6 counters would have been a better place to go.They leave some letters with us and go back to the car to get more and when they return they don’t come to post office side but to shop side and put their bags of letters on the counter knocking a cup off the counter and breaking it and don’t even apologise but we’re the rude ones !!!

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
