- ACAndrea CaddickSep 10, 20261.0Queue of 18 people and one member of staff, the service in this post office is abysmal.
- CSCatherine SpratleySep 7, 20262.0There must have been 15-20 in the queue at lunchtime today. Surely the Post Office can afford more staff to cover the lunchtime slots. Turned and walked away.
- ARAction RequiredSep 1, 20263.0It does what it says and has backup services in the same building. Queues can be long and arduous with staff taking breaks regardless of the amount of people. I asked the server a post related question and he said “I don’t know I don’t work for the post office” If you work on the desk you should know the services or work somewhere generic that suits your disinterested attitude.
Frequently Asked Questions About Canterbury Post Office

The amount you can withdraw in a Post Office branch will depend on any withdrawal limits in place on the specific account you hold with your bank. If you’re unsure, please contact your bank directly to check.
Do I get charged for making cash withdrawals at Post Office?
No charges are taken at the counter however some banks may charge.

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
