I went in today to post a parcel and was approached by staff who accused me of not paying for two items, claiming that my card had declined on 15/5. I was quite taken aback, as I wasn't even in the store on that date. I showed staff all of my transactions on my phone to demonstrate this. What upset me even more was seeing that the receipt described me as "parent of staring child." As a parent of two autistic children, I found this inappropriate and discriminatory. Children stare for many reasons, and I don't think this is an acceptable way to describe a customer. All of this was over £3. I feel there are bigger issues facing our community than pursuing someone over such a small amount, especially when there was no evidence that it was me. Pinning the receipt to the till made me feel as though I had committed a crime. I left feeling embarrassed, upset, and very disappointed with the way the situation was handled. Staff should be treating customers with respect and ensuring they have the correct facts before making accusations.

Saw some of the other reviews so maybe staff have changed but they’ve been nothing but lovely and helpful to me and always make an effort to talk to my kids
