- SWSMN WSep 3, 20261.0The lady at the till was very rude upon my arrival as it seems I interrupted her from other tasks. It wasn’t explained to me that I had to purchase a 45p envelope from a separate till before sending my package with Royal Mail in their store. There was a minimum charge of 2pounds when using card payment. I explained I didn’t have any cash and she immediately started getting aggressive, eventually shouting at me, at this point I left the shop and will never return. I live around the corner from this shop but would highly recommend anyone wanting to use a postal service to travel to the dumpton gap postoffice, where the staff are very helpful and friendly. They should not offer postal services if it’s a hindrance or they don’t have time!

A woman who works with the Post Office checked for my name and said it was not in the register. She told me to check back later in the day. I inquired what time it would be suitable but she just said later in the day. I proceeded to ask her what time they'd close and she told me 9pm.i checked back just after 6pm and she had left, I asked a man who I now presume is the store owner or staff about my parcel but he told me they had closed. I narrated my earlier encounter and he asked me if I want to send or collect a parcel. He then threatened to send back my parcel if I don't leave his store and return to pick it up the next day. Very rubbish customer service from both the woman and the man.
