  Looking at the opening times of the Fleetville Post Office to bring in yet another package drop-off, I was shocked to see some of the negative reviews of this lovely post office that has been my regular for many years. There are so many places I can send and return packages from in St Albans, and I regularly go out of my way to always choose Fleetville Post Office because of the friendly and helpful team. Even when I end up in situations where, through my own mistake, I’ve brought the wrong QR code for the wrong package, I can see that the staff here are doing everything in their power to help, assist, and guide while going above and beyond. This is me and my partner’s go-to post office, and we always talk about the pleasant experiences we receive here. Even if I moved further afield within St Albans, I would still make my way over to Fleetville Post Office due to the high-quality experience and knowledgeable staff I have encountered over the years. I always used to dread the drop-off experience in my previous town, but these days I am always positive knowing I’m going to the easily accessible and well-staffed post office here in St Albans Looking forward to many years of continued service.   I will never use this post office again, they decided to return my parcel to sender after 3 days although I had 5 days to collect and arrived on day 4. I was then rudely told it was taking up space and I should have come earlier

  very unorganised shop i went in and asked where do i pick up a package and the guy completely ignored me and then went i asked to pick up my parcel they said they haven’t sorted it yet very unprofessional from the shop

  This is the first time I’m reading the reviews online after feeling so incredibly uncomfortable that I never wanted to go back into this post office. The woman in there is absolutely crazy and the man doesn’t know what he’s doing. This is genuinely one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. Looking through the reviews, what stands out isn't just the number of complaints it's the responses. Rather than acknowledging concerns or taking responsibility, there seems to be a pattern of dismissing customers and suggesting everyone else is wrong. When dozens of people are reporting similar issues, it's probably time to consider whether the problem lies with the service rather than the customers. I've never seen review responses handled so poorly. Apparently every dissatisfied customer is mistaken, and the business is always right. Make that make sense. A good business uses feedback as an opportunity to improve. Here, the responses only reinforce the negative experiences people are describing. Reading them actually makes the customer service appear worse, not better. This place desperately needs a change in management and a fresh approach to customer care. Until then, the reviews and the responses speak for themselves.
