Aside from one lady you get awful service here, frequently the staff will just disappear for long periods out the back of the shop leaving great long queues, and when you do see someone thereâs zero engagement.
On top of that they also just randomly close the counter. Went in to collect a parcel which I could see behind the counter but the lady behind the shop tills wouldnât scan my pickup code and informed me it was closed, and that they would be open again âin an hour or soâ.
I always dread having to use this place, any other delivery post locally is better.

The Post Office inside McColl's closes randomly and at irregular times and a sign is placed on the window inside the shop saying that the Post Office is closed due to a delivery, or some other spurious reason. I have visited this particular Post Office 3 times in the last 10 days between 12pm and 2pm, and each time, it's been closed. And each time I ask the assistant when the Post Office will be open again, the answer is always 30 minutes. Yet, according to the Post Office website, it should be open from 6am to 10pm. This really is unacceptable.
