Very slow service
Often run out of signed for labels and opening hours are very sporadic!
We need a bit more consistency!
Staff very friendly though

Lovely staff always helpful, but the post office is run dreadfully as a consequence of mismanagement, and poor working conditions for the members of staff. The P.O staff mostly aren't trained properly (a day shadowing another poorly trained person is not enough or an effective strategy to run a post office counter) - why not send them on a small course or at least have longer training/supervision time under the tutelage of someone who knows the job? And then it's someone new every week with little or no apparent training and the previous poor incumbent has run for the hills. Other times they just simply close the post office during normal working hours. It's acutely embarrassing to see staff put into this position and floundering at their jobs; taking an eternity over what would in other post offices be simple transactions. I'd also advise Onestop to employ dedicated members of staff for their post office whilst ensuring they are trained properly from the get-go. It should not take 45 minutes + for a simple transaction (special delivery with insurance). This week they had even run out of Parcelforce labels and took 10 minutes to process two small inland letters. "We are not a main post office" a line I've heard trotted out by management, is not an excuse to run a shambles. It doesn't take a head chef to make beans on toast.
I should not be the one giving you a critique of your post office but I am, because your company is just phoning it in, doing as little as possible to run an important community resource properly, whilst still taking the profits that come your way by virtue of it. Once there is an improvement I'll come back and amend my rating and review. If not I'll write to the Post office. I don't like leaving bad reviews, if the situation improves I should remove this review straight away.

Usually good service, but I went along Friday afternoon approx. 3.30 and they apologised but said they would be closed until 2.30 on Saturday!
