I have been using the Moneyhill Parade Post Office regularly for around six years and have always found the service to be good.
I’ve seen some of the less flattering reviews and can understand the concerns people have raised. Their experience may have been different, but it hasn’t been mine.
It is also worth bearing in mind that this is a Post Office counter operating within a busy convenience store, rather than a stand-alone Post Office. The staff are dealing not only with Post Office customers, but also with the shop and other parcel and courier services, including Amazon. At busy times there can understandably be a queue.
Some reviews mention difficulty getting through by telephone. Having seen how busy the counter can get, I can understand why answering the phone isn’t always easy. Personally, if I were standing in a queue waiting to be served, I wouldn’t be particularly happy if the person serving stopped to take a telephone call instead.
I too have had parcels and letters posted here that subsequently failed to reach their destination. On each occasion, however, I have subsequently established that the item had been accepted and collected from Moneyhill and had gone astray later within the Royal Mail system. On those occasions, I found the staff at Moneyhill to be as helpful as they reasonably could be.
In six years of using this Post Office, I have never personally encountered dismissive or rude behaviour from anyone there. Quite the opposite: I have consistently found the staff helpful and courteous.
For comparison, my experiences at the Post Office on Rickmansworth High Street have unfortunately been quite different, including occasions when I have found the service rude and have been charged more than I believe I should have been.
Based on my own experience over a number of years, I’m very happy to continue using and supporting the Moneyhill Parade Post Office.

The staff are just so rude especially the woman working there, never say please or thank you and if they keep you waiting they don't apologise just smirk. Zero customer service.
Frequently Asked Questions About Moneyhill Parade Post Office

The amount you can withdraw in a Post Office branch will depend on any withdrawal limits in place on the specific account you hold with your bank. If you’re unsure, please contact your bank directly to check.
Do I get charged for making cash withdrawals at Post Office?
No charges are taken at the counter however some banks may charge.

How do I deposit a cheque at Post Office?
To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:
*The cheque

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
