- KCKirstine CoxMar 15, 20242.0This is a hit and miss place. Currently the post office is shut but the store attached to it is open. There are no posters outside stating it is closed so you get inside to find it is shut. The staff are hit and miss. One lady who works here frequently has trouble scanning my prepaid Royal Mail parcels so she has to telephone a colleague to be told she just needs to scan the barcode. She has given me proof of postings which don't show the tracking number on them so I'd never be able to claim against Royal mail if the parcel was lost. I've had to drive back to the post office to ask her to provide new proofs showing the tracking number. One male member of staff is friendly, the other looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. The former female owner of the Post Office used to huff at me for bringing in prepaid letters. I asked her why and she shouted "because I make no money from prepaid letters". I only use this post office as a last resort.

I used it again last week and nothing has changed! 2 lazy staff members behind the counter who only seemed nterested in checking their phones, eating takeaway food and pretending to hit some buttons on the computer. I waited at the counter for over 10 minutes and I asked several times what the delay was only to be mumbled at. I'm all for supporting local businesses, but if they are rude and useless then they don't deserve my business!!!

( Don't understand the poor review ?1 ) It's opening hours are good, never have to queue long and it has ALL the post office facilities I need. Sweets and newspapers to. It deserves our support.
